Credit Card Acceptance
Is there anyone here that accepts credit cards, say on a website, etc.? If so, what merchant account gateway do you use and why do you use that one and/or those? Thanks!!

RE: Credit Card Acceptance
I don't have anything merchant-ish anymore, but I thought PayPal accepts credit card payments.

RE: Credit Card Acceptance
Yeah, you only need to accept paypal, cause it handles credit card stuff.

RE: Credit Card Acceptance
PayPal is generally a fine solution for personal orders, generally of small items. However, businesses are less likely to purchase something (a product or service) from you through PayPal. Say, for example, I become a web host. You think my price is great and decide to switch to my service. You don't mind using PayPal (I wouldn't mind, either).
Now say I make a visit to a business in my area. They're really impressed with what I have to offer, and I would be saving them a bundle of money every year on their hosting needs. The only problem is, they just want to be able to give me their business credit card number and be done with it, not have to create an account with PayPal in order to pay me for my service. Do you see the problem? That's why I was wondering. Goooosfraba - "Anger Management" |

RE: Credit Card Acceptance
Authorize.net is not any bad.
Paypal more common nowadays, for obvious reasons. Unless youre trying to go big, Paypal wins for small transactions. . |
